Grok 4.7 uses a larger base model and longer reinforcement learning training, focusing on long tasks that take hours to solve, with native adaptation for Grok Bot.
The API pricing for 4.7 is the same as Grok 4.6, at $2 and $6 per million tokens for input and output respectively.
According to the official comparison, performance-wise it should be targeting GPT-5.6 Sol and Fable 5.1, at only 1/2 and 1/5 of their prices respectively.
